Welcome to my Eco-Fashion Mentorship Course!
My name is Deborah Lindquist. I am an Eco Fashion Designer and an early pioneer in Eco Fashion.
Thoughts become things! We all turn our thoughts and ideas into physical things by nourishing these ideas and putting
them into a framework of practice.
My Eco-Fashion design courses are created to educate, inspire, and support you in your own journey of creativity.
In this 9 week course I will mentor you through the process of learning the skillsets I developed in creating my brand.

For people enthusiastic about sustainable clothing and creating their own designs, you will learn the handcraft skillsets I use to create clothing, accessories, and home decorative accessories.

Whether you want to create clothing just for you, create a side gig, or you want to start your own eco-fashion clothing business, you will learn basic skills to create your own unique and beautiful designs. It all takes practice. With in depth study and coaching your progress will be accelerated.

Suppose you are already a fashion design student. In that case, you may know that eco-conscious design is the only way forward to not only preserve our natural resources and environment, but to preserve our own health and well being as well as the Business of Fashion.

You can still work at your own pace, but you will be coached through the process by me as well as have insight and access to guest experts in the fashion industry.

This course includes a downloadable workbook with assigned projects, resources, fashion terminology, and more. You will have access to the Private Facebook group, 6 coaching calls for the 9-week period, and access to me for support via Voxer.

As an early pioneer of eco fashion, I blend my classical fashion design education from Parsons School of Design and my experience as a fashion designer for brands in New York City with skills I developed in working with
organic, sustainable, upcycled, deadstock,and unusual &
experimental eco fabrics.
In this mentorship course I share the techniques I use and teach my process. You will have access to me for questions and support on Voxer as well as bi-weekly 45 minute coaching sessions.
You will have a downloadable PDF workbook full of resources, course assignments, fashion terminology, and more as well as access to my private Facebook group.
This mentorship course runs for 9 weeks and includes 5 one-on one coaching sessions.
Session 1: Introduction
A short introduction to Eco Fashion, what it is, why it is important, and the difference between Eco Fashion and Fast Fashion.
Session 2: Applique
In this session I share the story of how my iconic appliqué cashmere sweaters came about and demonstrate my appliqué technique.
Session 3: Reverse Applique
Reverse Appliqué is a technique using 2 or more layers of fabric, stitched & areas cut away to reveal the design.
Session 4: Beading
Fabric embellishment techniques using traditional and non-traditional beading materials and findings.
Session 5: Studding
Embellishment techniques with studs and rhinestones using a kick press as well as Chicago Screw studs.
Session 6: Eco Fabrics
An overview of my favorite eco conscious fabrics including organic, sustainable, and upcycled materials.
